2. Goods
2.1. We guarantee all the items on this site as being genuine and as described, however please always ask for a condition report before making a purchase.
2.2. Please note that all the items on the site are offered subject to their being available and we reserve the right to change our prices without prior notice.
2.3. While we strive to display colours etc. accurately in our photographs, items may vary slightly from what is shown. We would always advise viewing pieces in person, if possible.
2.4. If we are unable, due to items being out of stock or unanticipated limitations, to accept your order, we will inform the buyer as soon as possible. In this instance the buyer will not be charged.
2.5. In the unlikely event that an amendment to an item description is required (either due to damage or a mistake in cataloguing) before shipment, Guest and Gray will notify the buyer as soon as possible. In this instance, the buyer reserves the right not to proceed with the transaction.
3. Payment
3.1. Payment may be made in person, by bank transfer or WorldPay pay by link. In the later case payment can be made by credit card. We will not dispatch the goods until the funds are cleared in our bank account.
3.2. Items not fully paid for within 1 month from the date of purchase remain the property of Guest & Gray and may be re-offered for sale. In case of an amount remaining outstanding without our prior consent interest will be charged at 1.5% per month.
4. VAT and extra charges
4.1. Our prices are inclusive of VAT. In the case of margin scheme sales, VAT will be added at 20% of the profit margin. For items sold to customers outside the UK prices are quoted excluding VAT provided Guest and Gray arranges shipment.
4.2. In the event of change to the VAT rate, any changes will be passed on to the buyer unless the goods have already been paid for in full before the change takes effect.
4.3. Shipping options will be discussed on an individual basis at the time of purchase. Please see point (5) for further information regarding shipment.
4.4. Any extra fees incurred such as import duty are the full responsibility of the purchaser. Guest and Gray is not responsible for any additional charges beyond the shipping price agreed at the point of purchase.
5. Shipping
5.1. For smaller items and for customers outside the EU we generally use DHL, however we are always happy to discuss requirements and preferences with the customer at the time of purchase.
5.2. Depending on your whereabouts, the estimated delivery time can usually vary from three days to twenty days. We strive to deliver purchased goods as safely and promptly as possible.
5.3. In the event of a delay to delivery outside our control, we are not responsible but will attempt to contact the buyer as quickly as possible in order to alert them to the situation.
5.4. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that all details supplied to Guest and Gray are current and correct. In the case of incorrect or insufficient information (e.g. address) being provided, Guest and Gray is not responsible for the on-time delivery of goods, and may cancel the order or make an additional charge to compensate extra work required as a result of incorrect information.
5.5. The goods are the property of the buyer once payment has been received in full. The buyer becomes responsible for the goods from the point of delivery or collection.
6. Return of goods
6.1. In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, your right to return goods are protected. The full text can be found here.
6.2. Buyers have the right to change their mind and return goods within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which can be found in full here here . In this instance, items must be returned in the condition they were originally sold, at the discretion of Guest and Gray.
6.3. Buyers exercising the right to change their mind are responsible for the full delivery cost of returning the item.
6.4. Once returned goods have been inspected and condition is to the satisfaction of Guest and Gray, the purchaser will be refunded the full value of the item within a further 14 days.
6.5. Deductions will be made from the refund value in the case of any damage or reduction in the value of goods.
7. Return of faulty goods
7.1. In the unlikely event that goods are faulty or not as described, please contact us directly and within three days of receipt.
7.2. As according to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. In any event where this is not the case, the buyer is entitled to a refund without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days beginning on the day on which the trader agrees that the buyer is entitled to a refund.
